Default Fix the grentches in the "Bring a gift to scrappy" event.

Many times a single person will grab the only gift available and stand behind the xunlai chests and never turn in the gift. The grentches cannot path to them there and teleport away.

The result is that this single person ruins the entire event for anyone who may wish to actually participate.

Just have to fix the grentches to just path correctly, teleport to that spot, or just make the gift explode after a time.

I haven't seen this type of griefer yet, but you could always zone to another district where it isn't happening.

Wait, distracting the Grentches is a bad thing? It doesn't stop presents from spawning. Please, don't kill this one like they killed the dwarf cage.

I can remember the other grentch glitch---which they DID fix.....so we can hope that anet sees this as 'bothering' someone elses game play....and fixes it accordingly

(and yeah its annoying to go to storage and have the stupid gentches exploding next to you the whole time-----)

@mechanizeddeath - Not really the point, it's a bug that they cannot get to you. They already fixed a similar issue in Kamadan, but did not fix the one in Lions Arch.

@Ninja Dude - Yes. Exploiting the game is NEVER a good thing. This prevents people from enjoying the wintersday content. In fact they can, will, and have suspended people for doing this.

@joseph Mckennie - There is only one present at a time. Holding that gift prevents anyone else from participating. No, I am not camping the present. I only noticed the person doing this and since they fixed Kamadan I was bringing it to their attention that they have not done so in Lions Arch. Personally, I find running the gift to be a waste of time (Though I do it every now and then if I load in on top of a present). Rather do Strength of snow or Dominance if my goal was gifts.

@cosyfiep - Yeah, they fixed that one in Kamadan, but this one still exists.

This doesn't really seem like a big thing. I get that it takes away a small bit of Wintersday but, really? I do this from time to time just for lulz and I never see anyone complaining.

It's not a big thing.

It's a suggestion.
